The firm prefers to invest in companies based in Central and West Africa, preferably with a regional scope with a focus on Nigeria, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Cameroon, Gabon, DRC, and Angola. It prefers to invest in companies based in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), as well as Morocco, Mauritania, Uganda and Rwanda, all of which are economically integrated to ECOWAS and ECCAS and also fragile states and low-income countries in West, Central and East Africa. The firm prefers to invest between $5 million and $20 million, with the sweet sport being around $10 million, in companies with revenues of between $50 million and $75 million and enterprise value of between $50 million and $75 million. It prefers to have active Board representation in its portfolio companies. It takes minority stake in companies. The firm seeks to exit its investments through a liquidity event within three to seven years.
