Within dislocated/vice industries, it prefers to invest in cannabis, firearms, tobacco and adult. Within specialty finance/esoteric assets, it prefers to invest in litigation finance, nonbank lending (e.g. merchant cash advance, auto title lending, and specialty receivables), clean energy (e.g. solar, PACE), commissions factoring and intellectual property. It seeks to invest in companies that have their headquarters in the United States. The firm typically makes equity investments between $0.5 million and $20 million in companies with EBITDA between $3 million and $10 million for a platform company, revenue between $1 million and $100 million, and enterprise value between $10 million and $50 million. It primarily invests in companies with revenue greater than $1 million for bolt-on companies. The firm makes more than $5 million investment in debt and structured finance. It will consider add-on acquisitions of any size. It prefers majority or minority investments across the capital structure senior debt through common equity.
