It seeks to acquire companies throughout the energy services value chain. The firm primarily invests in companies based in North America. The firm typically invests between $20 million and $175 million in new platform and as per conservative approach it typically invest $20 million to $75 million of equity over the life of the investment having EBITDA of preferably ranging from $3 million to $25 million. The firm seeks to invest in platform companies. The firm makes add on investments in companies seeking capacity or geographical expansion, sale of complementary service, or product through platform companies, or commercialization of late stage technology. The firm prefers to acquire a control position but can also consider minority and majority stake in its portfolio companies.
