Asgard finances European deep technology companies in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The BaFin registered AIF venture capital firm was founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs Fabian Westerheide and Dirk Westerheide, with over 25 years of finance experience and more than 60 investments. Beginning July 1, 2018, Asgard opened its Singularity Fund for semi-professional and professional investors. A further €100 million in capital will be raised for 30 portfolio companies in the field of applied Artificial Intelligence. Asgard's current investments include Parlamind, Micropsi Industries, and Accelerated Dynamics.
