About
Soon after its founding in 1989, The Bancroft Group, LP’s early business was providing mergers and acquisition advice to US companies seeking to buy assets or establish operations in Central and Eastern Europe. In the early 1990s Bancroft started making acquisitions for its own account, and in 1996 launched Bancroft Eastern Europe Fund, L.P. to make private equity investments in Eastern Europe. In November, 2002, our second fund, Bancroft 2 was launched. Its geographical coverage was extended to include Turkey.
