The firm seeks to invest in firms based in the North America, United States with a focus on Texas and West coast, and Canada. The firm seeks to invest between $10 million and $45 million in the form of equity or debt in companies with enterprise value between $30 million and $200 million, sales value between $20 million and $500 million, and EBITDA between $5 million and $30 million. The firm typically purchases a combination of debt and equity securities and invests in junior debt securities. It often structures its investments as subordinated debt or preferred stock. It makes non-control investments or acquires minority and majority stakes in its portfolio companies. The firm participates actively in the board of directors of each of its portfolio companies.
