Capvent is no longer investing. It is a private equity firm specializing in direct investments and co-investments. Within direct investments, it seeks to make private equity investments in lower middle market, buyout, and growth capital stages. The firm prefers to make investments in consumer business, consumer products/services, food and beverage, personal care, education, water/sustainable framework, and personal spending. It targets investing in companies based in APAC emerging markets with a focus on India, China, Southeast Asia, Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Singapore. For direct investments it prefers to invest between $4 million and $20 million in companies with sales value between $5 million and $100 million. Capvent invests in both Majority and significant minority Shareholding. Capvent was founded in 2000 and is based at Zurich, Switzerland with additional offices in Bangalore, India and Shanghai, China.
