Within the consumer products and service sector, it focuses on food and beverage including health and wellness products, natural and organic products, fresh and refrigerated products, specialty and ethnic products, candy and confectionary, specialty beverage, ingredients, and food and beverage service and processing; household and office product including cleaning and care products, other home and office supplies, pet products, and environmentally sustainable products; health and beauty aids including personal care products, beauty products, and dietary and nutritional supplements; general merchandise or durables including automotive products, educational products, house wares and home related products including hard and soft goods, lawn and garden products, luxury products, pet products, select areas within accessories and specialty apparel, sports and recreational products, and travel products; and consumer services including direct marketing within alternative and emerging channels, catalog retailing, and private label. The firm primarily invests in United States, specifically in North America. It seeks to invest at least $20 million of equity over the life of each investment and can invest up to $150 million. The firm seeks to invest on an average between $40 million and $60 million. It seeks investment in the companies having revenue between $200 million to $400 million and also prefers to invest in companies with an enterprise value between $25 million and $150 million. The firm can also make investments where the enterprise value is initially less than $25 million if the company is suited for rapid growth through a strategy such as joint ventures or build-up.
