Circulate Capital is a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in startups, early venture and mezzanine and seeking for opportunities to invest in form of equity, quasi-equity, and debt (loans). The firm is investing in companies, projects, and infrastructure that will reduce the flow of plastic into the world’s oceans, waste management and recycling. It invests in opportunities that collect, sort, process, and manufacture using waste in areas known to contribute to the ocean plastic crisis. It also supports incubation of eco-systems of companies, NGOs and municipalities that will, among other things, increase the pipeline of investable opportunities for all investors. It invests in the entire plastic value chain, from innovations in material to advanced recycling technologies. The firm prefers to invest in South and Southeast Asian Countries mainly in India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam as well as in Latin America and Caribbean. The Firm is seeking investments of $2 million or more or of smaller amounts in special circumstances in companies. Circulate Capital was founded in 2018 and is based in Singapore with additional offices in Brooklyn, New York, Indonesia and Brazil.
