Conscious Equity Partners is a private investment firm specializing in early stage, later stage, expansion capital, and acquisitions of mature conscious businesses. The firm prefers to invest in business services, manufacturing, media, retail, entertainment, food and restaurants, consumer related operating businesses, consumer products and services, wholesale and distribution businesses, and brand management and licensing companies with a focus on apparel and fashion accessories, footwear, health and beauty, furniture and home textiles, consumer electronics, pet care, infant and juvenile products, and recreation sectors. It prefers to invest in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia or companies willing to relocate to one of these locations. It typically invests between $10 million and $65 million in companies with an EBITDA up to $20 million and an operating history of profitability. For early stage, it seeks to invest in companies with revenues between $1 million and $20 million and for later stage companies with EBITDA up to $10 million. The firm seeks majority or minority equity positions in its portfolio companies. It invests both through their own capital/ family capital, but also through raised capital from external/outside investors.
