Creafund NV is a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in investing in secondary direct, early venture, mid venture, late venture, shareholders loans, expansion, development capital, growth capital, management buy-outs, buy-ins, consolidations, later stage, turnaround, restructuring, privatization, PIPEs, and recapitalizations, in mature and middle market companies. The firm does not invest in seed, start-up or scale up companies, real estate and early stage. It seeks to invest across all sectors with a focus on innovating product/technology and/or active sectors that can give opportunities for consolidation. The firm prefers to invest in mature and established small to medium enterprises within a 500 kilometer range around Brussels with a particular focus on Flanders and Wallonia. It takes majority stakes of between €5 million ($5.28 million) and €25 million ($26.41 million) in Belgian SMEs, and EBITDAs of between €2.5 million ($2.64 million) and €25 million ($26.41 million), alongside entrepreneurs, family shareholders and management. The firm invests through debt or minority and majority equity stake. Creafund NV was founded in 1997 and is based in Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium.
