The firm seeks to invest in small and medium size Danish manufacturing companies in the form of share capital and subordinated loans. The firm provides capital for succession and other ownership change. It typically initially invests between DKK 5 million ($0.75 million) and DKK 40 million ($6 million) in companies with turnovers between DKK 75 million ($11.24 million) and DKK 400 million ($59.96 million). The firm always a minority shareholder, initially and gains a 25-50% stake and can also consider investing in partnership with other investors. It prefers to take a board seat in its portfolio companies. Danske Ejerkapital A/S was founded in 1994 and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
