Diagram Ventures is a Montréal-based venture builder and investor specializing in the Fintech, Web3, and ClimateTech sectors. Founded in 2016 by François Lafortune and Paul Desmarais III, the firm has launched over 25 ventures, including Dialogue, Nesto, and Novisto, creating more than $1.5 billion in shareholder value and generating over 1,500 full-time jobs. Diagram's unique model combines access to capital, hands-on support, and a deep ecosystem of partners to help entrepreneurs build and scale technology companies. In May 2023, Diagram closed its third fund, Diagram Ventures III L.P., raising over $100 million CAD, exceeding its initial target. The firm also launched its first ClimateTech Fund in October 2024, securing $80 million CAD to invest in early-stage cleantech startups focused on solutions to tackle climate change and reduce emissions.
