DIH seeks to invest in firms based in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It typically invests between €4 million ($4.53 million) and €20 million ($22.64 million) in companies with sales between €5 million ($5.66 million) and €50 million ($56.60 million); enterprise value between €10 million ($11.32 million) and €50 million ($56.6 million); and EBITDA between €2 million ($2.26 million) and €10 million ($11.32 million). It prefers to take majority stake or qualifying minority stake and makes investments through its personal capital and balance sheet. The firm also invests in real estate through its business division LBU Immobilien Invest. DIH Deutsche Industrie-Holding GmbH was founded in 1991 and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
