The firm targets companies with revenues in pro forma run-rate EBITDA between $10 million and junior capital at least $20 million and above. Around 50 percent of the investment can be in the form of common equity. It prefers to acquire a majority stake in companies. It typically invests in the form of subordinate debt with warrants; convertible subordinate debt or preferred stock; PIK preferred stock; and non- control common equity (with mezzanine investments). The firm makes equity co-investments (in conjunction with a junior capital investment). Falcon Investment Advisors, LLC was founded in July 2000 and is based in Boston, Massachusetts with additional offices in New York, New York, Singapore, Singapore and Dallas, Texas.
