Fouriertransform Aktiebolag is a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in early venture, mid venture, late venture, mature stage, growth capital, bridge, and PIPES investments. It does not invest in aviation industry. It prefers to invest in automotive companies based in Sweden. It typically invests in sustainable vehicles with a focus on battery technology, hybrid systems, and combustion/engine technology, technology that improves the efficiency of materials and energy; smart vehicles; customer and business services; and in more efficient production areas. It can make investments in all parts of the value chain, i.e. from materials, components, modules, and systems to aftermarket products and services. It allows a maximum ownership of 49 percent and individual investments not more than five percent of its total capital, i.e., SEK 150 million. The firm seeks to makes balance sheet investments and invests on a commercial basis with a return target between 10 and 15 percent per year. It seeks to take an active role as an owner and at times as a traditional minority owner. Fouriertransform Aktiebolag was established in 2008 and is based in Stockholm, Sweden with an additional office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
