Frontier Angels is a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage, seed & series A companies. The firm invests through growth capital. The firm typically invests in tech-leveraged business models where the product is based on some proprietary technology the company developed or licensed, companies with a product that is at least in beta test stage if not further along, company with regulated medical device or advanced technology with an SBIR or NIH grant or have early-stage clinical evidence and companies selling software or apps with evidence that customers are buying. The firm focuses on local and regional Montana-based companies and across US. The firm prefers to invest in companies that plan to be doing $10 million or more in annual revenue in just a few years. The Firm don’t invest in general solicitations or companies based outside Montana without strong local ties and consumer goods, food, or non-tech-based products. Frontier Angels was founded in 2006 and is based in Bozeman, Montana and additional office in Polson, Montana.
