The firm typically invests between $3 million to $25 million, and $3 million and $30 million in subordinated debt and non-control equity in companies with enterprise values between $15 million and $100 million, annual revenues between $10 million and $200 million, EBITDA between $3 million and $20 million, and an EBITDA margin greater than 10 percent. The firm seeks to invest in companies with debt investment values between $3 million and $13 million. The firm structures its investments as subordinated notes with warrants; all-coupon, fixed rate, subordinated notes; tranche B senior note structured financing; second lien, first lien last out; unitranche; preferred stock with warrants; and minority common stock co-investments. Additionally, it may participate as a sole investor, lead investor for a co-investment group, and a co-investor with another institutional investor. GMB Capital Partners was founded in 2004 and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with an additional office in Raleigh, NC.
