It prefers to invest in the information technology, electronic components, telecommunications equipment, petrochemistry, metal and non-metal, game software, energy, machinery, automobile, equipment, computer software and hardware, semiconductor equipment, internet, and biotechnology industries. The firm seeks to enter growth stage industry of green industries and new growth engine industry. It primarily invests in South Korea with a focus in Gyeonggi, Gyeongbuk, Incheon, Jeonbuk, Chungnam, and Gwangju. Hyundai Venture Investment Corporation was founded in 1997 and is based in Seoul, South Korea.
