Internet Initiatives Development Fund Invest is an Investment Arm of Internet Initiatives Development fund and is an accelerator and venture capital firm specializing in investments in seed, startups, and early stage companies. It invests in cyber security, e-commerce, financial services, internet, online projects, technology and solutions for telecommunications, enterprise software platform for big business, machine learning, monetization and distribution of digital content, information security and protection of intellectual property on the internet, big data, the internet of things and portable devices (wearable) and in the Fintech sector. The firm primarily invests in Russia. It also plans educational programs and legislative initiatives to support and encourage early-stage projects and other entrepreneurs. The firm also provides a four-month acceleration program for select entrepreneurs wherein it takes 7 percent to 25 percent stake and invests 1.4 million rubles. For the acceleration program it considers investments in B2C-projects in the field of media, eTravel and eCommerce and B2B-projects in the field of advertising and financial technology. It also runs an acceleration programme for retail startups which develop services with the use of big data and machine learning, marketing products, automation and robotization solutions for internal processes, logistics technologies (simplifying the delivery of various goods to customers for large transportation vehicles) and seeks to invest between RUB2.5 million ($0.04 million) and RUB25 million ($0.41 million). It invests between $0.01 million and $3 million in pre-seed projects and between $0.25 million and $0.3 million in seed projects. It invests up to $3.5 million in developed start-ups. Internet Initiatives Development Fund Invest was founded in July 2013 and is based in Moscow, Russia.
