Within consumers, it seeks to invest in Food and Beverage: beer, wine, spirits, branded alcoholic, branded non-alcoholic, functional and premium, natural and organic,; Personal Care and Household Products: branded oral care, branded skincare, branded cleaners/housewares; pet: foods and treats, accessories, services; and Wellness and Consumer Services: differentiated fitness concepts, wellness oriented services, other consumer service. Within healthcare services, it seeks to invest in outsourced services which includes Hospital Outsourcing: anesthesia, pharmacy and pharmacy services, consumerism, care cost containment, HCIT, quality improvement; Population Management: ACO services, autism, chronic illnesses, dual eligibles; Outsourced Administrative Functions: services to ACOs, payors and providers; Specialty Diagnostics: personalized medicine, specialty diagnostic services, specialty lab testing; and Consumer Directed Services: alternative medicine, nutraceuticals, and weight loss. Within industrial and business services, the firm invests in aerospace, defense, and government services: C4ISR, cyber security and cloud computing/ Intel analytics, FBOs, MROs; Specialty Chemicals: automotive refinish products, building coatings, industrial coatings; Other Asset Light Services: oil and gas, information, marketing and loyalty services, environmental services; and Software and software-Enabled Services; health and lifestyle services. The firm also invests in education services, which include continuing professional education and certification, employment ecosystem, corporate management/compliance/security, consumerism, unmanned assets, electronics and components, aftermarket services. The firm typically invests in North America and Europe, however it can also invest globally. The firm primarily invests between $20 million and $60 million in companies with enterprise values between $50 million and $500 million and EBITDA between $5 million and $30 million. The firm seeks to act as the lead or the co-lead investor and provides active board oversight. It seeks to invest in companies which have a potential for build-up opportunities in fragmented industries.
