The firm typically invests in companies headquartered in North America and having meaning operations and revenue in North America. It typically makes equity investment in range between $20 million and $75 million for new platform investments. However, the firm does not have any minimum constraint for add-on acquisitions. The firm considers investments only in companies having revenue between $30 million and $300 million and cash operating income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and certain other non-cash charges “EBITDA”) in excess of $7 million. It may represent either a majority equity interest or a minority or a majority ownership positions. It may provide either common or preferred equity. It also provides follow-on capital to support future growth and also seeks to make add-on acquisitions for existing portfolio companies without any geographic constraints. The firm will also consider investments in companies that are heavily exposed to the business cycle and provides junior debt financing in concert with equity investment.
