The firm also seeks to invest in small government contractors with differentiated competitive advantage, web broadcasts, published electronic material, internet and direct marketing retail, personal products, vitamins and nutritional supplements, pharmaceuticals, interne software and services, infrastructure services, enterprise data management. The firm seeks to invest in North America, Mid-Atlantic region of the United States and Coastal region of China and China. In buyouts, the firm prefers to invest in East Coast region of the United States. It typically invests in companies with annual revenues of $5 million or more in nutraceuticals and $20 million or more in business process outsourcing and business services. The firm typically invests up to $1 million in venture investment. It invests in the form convertible debenture or a redeemable preferred stock structure. The firm does not require board seat but seeks observation rights in its portfolio companies. It typically holds its investments for a period of seven to 10 years. The firm also provides advisory services. It prefer to have majority stake in companies.
