The firm typically invests in companies based in Canada and the United States. The firm seeks to make equity investments between $4 million and $40 million in companies with minimum revenue of $10 million and with minimum EBITDA of $1 million. For its subordinated debt investments the firm invests between $4 million and $50 million on the interest rate (as of 2025) of 10-14%, with maturity between 5 and 7 years. In preferred/common equity, the firm seeks to invest up to $30 million, with PIK dividend rate (as of 2025) of 6-10%, with larger amounts available in conjunction with the limited partners and with redemption rights on preferred equity after 5-8 years via a put option. The firm invests in companies with minimum revenue of $10 million, and minimum EBITDA of $3 million. The firm prefers to take majority and minority stakes.
