It typically invests in companies based in the Commonwealth of the Pennsylvania with a focus on certain underserved markets in Central and Northern Pennsylvania. The firm initially invests between $0.5 million and $1.25 million and seeks to provide total investments not more than $2 million in a company, including follow on financing. It primarily invests in companies with annual profit after tax not greater than $2 million, net worth not greater than $6 million for each of the prior two years, and revenues in excess of $1 million. It can invest as a lead or can co-invest with other qualified institutional investors, private equity funds, and strategic partners. It primarily invests in equity and equity-like securities and may also provide operational assistance grant funding to current and potential portfolio companies.
