Polo Capital is an independent resource management group based in Rio de Janeiro. The group was founded in 2002 and started operations of its first products in 2003. Polo Capital manages client funds in various liquid and illiquid terms. Net strategies include Event-Driven and Macro, while illiquid products include Private Credit, Real Estate and Special Situations. Polo Capital products aim for differentiated performance by investing resources in market segments where the firm has a tangible competitive advantage and / or where there is a shortage of resources and therefore little competition. The focus is on long term value generation.
