The firm also makes Venture debt, Mezzanine, loan and Secondary Investing - Portfolio Company Interests. The firm seeks to invest in Western Europe with a focus on Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the Nordic region but will also selectively transact in other developed markets. Within real estate, it specializes in providing mezzanine financing to newly-originated commercial real estate transactions. It principally focuses on transactions in Germany but may consider investments in other Western European countries on an opportunistic basis. It seeks to invest in companies with sales value between $54.54 and $163.61 million with debt investment values between €5 million ($6.69 million) to €20 million ($26.79 million) with an enterprise value of €10 million ($14.33 million) to €75 million ($100.48 million), up to a maximum of €250 million ($334.95 million) and EBITDA between $ 7.64 million and 54.54 million. The firm sources, executes and manages its investments, particularly in the area of Mittelstand and other private/family-owned companies in Europe. The firm primarily provides its services to institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds and large family offices. It manages liquid and illiquid investment funds for its clients. It prefers to take a seat on the board of directors of its portfolio companies. It also prefers to take majority as well as minority stakes in its portfolio companies.
