Rubicon Partners was founded in 1993 as a specialist, hands-on investment partnership structured as an industrial holding company with a focus on acquiring and operating industrial businesses. Since then we have acquired over 60 manufacturing and distribution companies, in a range of end-markets, across Europe and North America.Rubicon Partners acquires portfolios as well as individual businesses from parent companies where they are considered non core, and also from private individual owners who are looking for management continuity and an exit.We operate as an active hands-on board with the aim of developing, both operationally and strategically, the businesses that we acquire, subsequently finding a long term home for those that we sell. We work in close partnership with existing management in an open, transparent style. We encourage our management teams to develop their businesses in a comprehensive way. Our interest is to acquire companies or portfolios with an enterprise value in the range of £10m-£300m. We are comfortable if the constituent companies of a portfolio have no strategic fit together, or if they are geographically widely spread around the world.Rubicon Partners has offices in London, Munich, and Shanghai.
