For its operating company acquisitions, it acquires controlling equity interest in financially challenged companies. It invests in acquisitions, ownership changes, corporate divestitures, and bankrupt companies. The firm seeks to invest in basic manufacturing, logistics, distribution, energy support and financial service companies located throughout United States. It typically invests between $5 million and $25 million in lower to middle market companies with revenues between $10 million and $150 million and co-invests in larger transactions.
