True North Equity (TNE) is a private equity firm located in Plymouth, MI. Our current investment focus is in acquiring U.S. based companies that perform outsourced services in support of natural gas and electric utilities. Targeted EBITDA levels range from $5M-$20M, although both smaller and larger opportunities may be considered on a case-by-case basis. TNE provides funding for acquisitions through a partnership with CIVC Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm with $1.3 billion under management.
