Vistara Growth, formerly known as Vistara Capital Partners, is a private equity, venture capital and venture debt firm specializing in middle and later stage, growth capital, buyouts, recapitalizations, secured term debt (with warrants) (senior or subordinated) or convertible debt, non-amortizing loans, working capital, expansion financing, bridge debt (to next round financing, IPO or exit), standby debt facilities (e.g. acquisition lines), minority preferred equity (in select situations). The firm also provides interim financing prior to initial public offering or an exit and refinancing or restructuring of other debt. It seeks to invest in mid-later stage companies. The firm primarily focuses on investments in the software, technology and tech-enabled services market sectors. It seeks to make investments across North America with particular emphasis on Canada and the West Coast of the United States. The firm considers investing between $10 million and $30 million per investment. It seeks to take minority positions in its investments. The firm prefers to invest in the form of debt or equity or a combination of both with debt terms between two and four years. Vistara Growth was founded in 2015 and is based in Vancouver, Canada with an additional office in Toronto, Canada.
