CardioMech

CardioMech develops a transcatheter mitral valve repair solution designed to treat patients with mitral regurgitation by replacing broken or elongated native chordae tendineae. The device is an artificial chord delivered via a transfemoral, transseptal approach on a beating heart to restore native anatomy without the need for open-heart surgery. The technology targets patients eligible for surgery as well as those considered surgically ineligible, aiming to reduce or eliminate blood regurgitation.
