Pedius provides a communication application that enables Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to make independent phone calls without third-party intermediaries. The technology converts user text into a synthetic voice for the recipient and transcribes the recipient's speech into real-time text for the user. The service is designed for personal use and provides access to partner services and emergency departments.
