Plakar

Plakar provides an open-source backup and recovery solution designed for security and infrastructure teams to protect AI pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and databases like PostgreSQL. The platform uses a deduplication engine called Kloset to reduce storage costs and implements zero-trust encryption and object-lock immutability to defend against ransomware. It allows organizations to manage their backup posture as code using Kubernetes CRDs, Terraform, or Ansible across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.
