Pulmocide
Pulmocide develops novel inhaled medicines for difficult-to-treat respiratory diseases, specifically targeting fungal infections. The company's lead compound, opelconazole, is currently in a Phase 3 clinical trial for the treatment of invasive pulmonary aspergillosis in patients who do not respond to standard antifungal therapy. The product is also being investigated for use in other conditions such as aspergilloma, chronic necrotizing pulmonary aspergillosis, and severe asthma with fungal sensitization.
