Saveggy develops a plant-based, edible protection made from rapeseed and oat oil to extend the shelf life of fresh produce. The technology is designed for industrial integration at the packing stage, specifically targeting growers, packers, and retailers to reduce food waste and plastic packaging. While currently validated for cucumbers, the company is expanding its applications to include bananas, peppers, eggplants, and zucchini.
